The only change to this article was the effectivity.Description of Change: A new speed sensor is available. The new sensor will increase the overall service life. Speed sensors are used in five locations on the machine. Four of the locations are used in order to determine the various transmission speeds. The fifth location is used in order to determine the torque converter output speed.Adaptable To: The 3E-8848 Speed Sensor is being replaced by 193-2550 Speed Sensor. The new 193-2550 Speed Sensor can be used in all five sensor locations.
