2. Remove two bolts (1) and washers. 3. Remove four bolts (2) and washers. 4. Separate cover assembly (3), and cover assembly (5) from body assembly (4). Remove gear assembly (6) and gear assembly (7) from body assembly (4). 5. Remove two dowel pins (8) from cover assembly (3) if necessary. Remove seal (9) from cover assembly. 6. Remove two bearings (10) from cover assembly (3). Remove O-ring seal (11). 7. Remove four dowels (12) from body (4) if necessary. There are two dowels on each side of body (4). 8. Remove two bearings (13) and O-ring seal (14) from cover assembly (5).Assemble Winch Hydraulic Pump
1. Inspect all seals and parts for wear or damage. Make a replacement if necessary. Put a small amount of clean hydraulic oil on all seals and parts. 2. Install two bearings (1) in cover (2) using tool (A). Bearings must be installed so the bearing joint is 30° 15° from the centerline of the two bearing bores. Install bearings (1) to a depth of 1.5 0.5 mm (.06 .02 in.) below the machined surface of cover (2), as shown. Install O-ring seal (3). 3. Install four dowels (4) in body (5). The dowels must protrude from the body 4.8 mm (.19 in.) on each side of the body. 4. Install two bearings (8) in cover (6) using tool (A). Bearings (8) must be installed so that the bearing joint is 30° 15° from the centerline of the two bearing bores. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.5 0.5 mm (.06 .02 in.) below the surface of cover (6). Install O-ring seal (7). 5. Install two dowels (9) in cover (6). Dowels (9) must protrude from the surface of cover 6.0 0.5 mm (.24 .01 in.). Use tool (A) and install lip type seal (10) as shown. 6. Assemble body assembly (5) to cover assembly (2). Install gears (11) and (12) into the bearings of cover assembly (2). Assemble cover assembly (6) to the body and cover assembly. 7. Install six bolts (13) and washers (two are not shown). The pump must rotate freely by hand after assembly.8. Install the winch hydraulic pump.
