Engine Start Switch
Off (1) - To insert or remove the key the switch must be in this position. Turn the key to the OFF position to stop the engine. Turn the key to the OFF position before trying to restart the engine. On (2) - The key will return to this position after it is released from the START position. Start (3) - Turn the keyswitch to the START position to start the engine. Release the keyswitch as soon as the engine starts.Gauges
Engine Coolant Temperature (1) - Indicates temperature of engine coolant. The gauge registers 40°C to 138°C (100°F to 280°F). Engine Oil Pressure (2) - Indicates amount of oil pressure produced in the engine. If the engine oil pressure falls below 83 kPa (12 psi), stop the machine immediately. Stop the engine and investigate the cause. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected. Vibration Per Minute Tachometer (4) - Indicates vibrations per minute (frequency of the vibratory drum). Gauge indicates vibrations from 0 to 4,000 vpm. Drum frequency should be 1,800 vpm. Hydraulic Oil Temperature (4) - Indicates temperature of the hydraulic oil within the hydraulic oil tank. The gauge registers 40°C to 138°C (100°F to 280°F). Service Hour Meter (5) - Indicates the total number of hours the engine has operated. Use it to determine service intervals. Fuel Level (6) - Indicates the amount of diesel fuel in the fuel tank. Engine Voltmeter (7) - Indicates the amount of voltage being produced by the engine. During normal operation the engine should produce between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. Located behind the operator's seat. Hydraulic Filter Return Gauge (8) - Indicates the amount of restriction within the return hydraulic filter.Indicators
Parking/Secondary Brake Button (1) - A light in the center of the brake button will light when the button is depressed to the BRAKE ON position.
This light also lights if there is a loss of hydraulic pressure and the brake is applied. Do not move the machine with the light on.
Propel Filter Indicator Light (2) - When light is on, the propel system hydraulic oil filter is restricted and should be changed. Vibratory Filter Indicator Light (3) - When light is on, the vibratory system hydraulic oil filter is restricted and should be changed. Propel filter indicator light (2) and vibratory filter indicator light (3) will come on after initial start up and will stay on until hydraulic oil has warmed.Light Switch
Light Switch - Push the toggle switch forward to place the switch in the ON position. This will light up the gauges and turn the head and tail lights on.Push Buttons
Horn (1) - Depress to activate the horn. Filter Light Test Button (2) - Depress to make certain vibratory and propel filter indicator lights work.Back-up Alarm
Back-up Alarm - The alarm will sound when the direction control lever is in the reverse position. It is used to alert people behind the machine that it is backing up.Seat Adjustment
