Improperly inflated tires can cause excessive heat build-up, resulting in blowouts.Proper inflation equipment and training in its use are necessary to avoid overinflation. A tire blowout or rim failure can result in accidents or personal injury.Use a self-attaching chuck and stand behind the tread when inflating a tire.Set the tire inflation equipment regulator at no more than 140 kPa (20 psi) over the recommended tire pressure.
Over or under inflated tires can cause excessive or uneven tire wear or rim damage.Keep the valve caps on to prevent dirt from entering the valve stems. Otherwise, valve damage can occur.

For normal operating conditions, inflate the tires between 500 and 800 kPa (72 and 116 psi). If more flotation is required, reduce the tire pressure close to the minimum of 250 kPa (36 psi).Transporting Tire Pressures
When transporting the machine, inflate the tires to 400 kPa (58 psi).
