Installation Procedure
Draining the hydraulic tank causes the brake pump to lose prime.Failure to reprime the brake pump may result in system damage. All pump lines and pump housing must be filled with oil prior to start-up.
Check the condition of the O-ring seal for the pump drive. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new O-ring seal.

Install O-ring seal (4) to secondary steering pump (1).

Install secondary steering pump (1) and nuts (3). The weight of secondary steering pump (1) is approximately 18 kg (40 lb).

Connect hose assemblies (2) to secondary steering pump (1).
Fill the hydraulic tank. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Start the engine and check for leaks. End By:
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
