Slide the 253-8329 Laser Receiver assembly (60) on to the top of the 226-2333 Electric Mast assembly (57). The clamp that is on the laser receiver assembly must rest against the 260-6480 snap ring (59) .Note: The laser receiver must face the front end of the machine. Refer to Illustration 24.

Hand tighten the receiver assembly clamp (61) in order to secure the receiver to the mast. Refer to Illustration 23.

(65) 90 degree Coiled Cable Connector (66) Upper Mast Connector
Connect the ninety degree connector (65) of the 276-0764 Coiled Cable to the upper connector (66) of the electric mast.Note: Wrap the coiled receiver cable around the mast at least one full loop.

Attach the straight connector (67), that is on the coiled cable, to the bottom connector of the laser receiver (60) .
Install the tire that was removed.

From the "AccuGrade Main Menu", select "Service". Press "OK".

Select "Installation". Press "OK".

Select "Laser Ref Sys". Press "OK".

Select "Install". Press "OK".
Press the "OK" button in order to acknowledge the warning and confirmation screens that indicate that the laser mast has not been calibrated.
Restart the machine in order for the changes to take effect.
In order to correctly position the laser, set up the laser transmitter slightly above the height of the machine cab.

From the "AccuGrade Main Menu", select "Laser Reference Sys". Press "OK".

Select "Position Recv" from the "Laser Receiver" display. Press "OK".
Press the "UP" button on the display in order to command the laser receiver to seek the laser. The status line that is at the bottom of the screen must be shown as "Up".

Allow the laser receiver to seek the laser. Once the laser is found, the status line will display the message "Laser Found". The AccuGrade Laser System will function correctly. If the status line indicates "Stopped - Laser Not Found", check the settings and the position of the laser transmitter. Verify that the laser beam is not blocked by some type of obstruction. Verify that the laser beam is within the working range of the electric mast.Verify that the status LED on the laser receiver is blinking. If the status light is not on, check all of the electrical connections.
