Remove Oil Filter Base (Industrial Engine)
1. Remove plug (1) and remove oil from oil filter base. 2. Use tool (A) to remove oil filter (2). 3. Remove four bolts (5) that hold oil filter base to oil cooler and six bolts (4) that hold oil filter base to cylinder block.4. Disconnect turbocharger oil line (3).5. Remove oil filter base (6).Install Oil Filter Base (Industrial Engine)
1. Put oil filter base (1) in position on oil cooler and cylinder block.2. Install the six bolts that hold the oil filter base to cylinder block.3. Install the four bolts that hold the oil filter base to oil cooler. 4. Connect turbocharger oil line (2).5. Install the oil filter on the base.Disassemble Oil Filter Base (Industrial Engine)
start by: a) remove oil filter base 1. Remove the two covers (1) that hold valves in oil filter base. 2. Remove spring (4) and bypass valve (2) for the oil cooler. Remove spring (5) and bypass valve (3) for the oil filter.Assemble Oil Filter Base (Industrial Engine)
1. Install the bypass valve (1) and spring (2) for the oil cooler.2. Install the cover (3). 3. Install the bypass valve (4) and spring (5) for the oil filter.4. Install the cover (6).end by: a) install oil filter baseRemove Oil Filter Base (Marine Engine)
1. Use tool (A) to remove oil filter (3). 2. Remove two bolts (2) that hold oil inlet tube (1) to oil filter base. 3. Remove two bolts (5) that hold oil outlet tube to cylinder block.4. Remove four bolts (4) that hold oil filter base to cylinder block and remove oil filter base.5. Remove oil outlet tube from oil filter base.Install Oil Filter Base (Marine Engine)
1. Install a new O-ring seal (1) on oil outlet tube (2) if needed. Put clean engine oil on seal and install tube in oil filter base. 2. Put oil filter base (3) in position on cylinder block and install four bolts.3. Install two bolts that hold oil outlet tube. Install two bolts that hold oil inlet tube.4. start by: a) remove oil filter base 1. Remove adapter (6) from base assembly (5).2. Remove cover (4) from base assembly.3. Remove cover (1), spring (2), and plunger (3).Assemble Oil Filter Base (Marine Engine)
