Component Code(s) 6061SUBJECT: Possible Blade to Push Arm Fit-Up Problem
PROBLEM:
There have been reports of bulldozer blade to push arm fit-up problems caused by a mismatch in the overall width of the push arm to blade trunions. If you encounter a fit up problem take the measurements as shown in Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
SOLUTION:
After the measurements are taken, make a Service Request entry into DSN or contact Tier 1 who will forward your request to the Tractor Product Group.
The Service Request should include the machine serial number, bulldozer arrangement part number and serial number, a reference to this TIB, and the actual measurements from the suspect components.
The information will then be used to determine the best course of action for repair.
