1. Open drain valve and drain off any accumulated sediment. Close valve. 2. Remove fuel tank filler cap. Wash cap in clean non-flammable solvent.(22)Transmission And Bevel Gear Compartments
Change breather.(23)Flywheel Clutch Compartment
Change breather.(24)Clutch Brake
Lubricate 1 fitting.(25)Universal Joints
Lubricate 2 fittings.(26)Final Drives
1. Remove drain plugs and drain compartments.2. Clean and install drain plugs. 3. Remove fill plugs and add oil to level of filler plug openings. See REFILL CAPACITIES.4. Clean and install fill plugs.(27)Steering Clutches
Check free travel. Free travel at each steering clutch lever should be 3 inches (76 mm). To Adjust: 1. Remove seat cushion.2. Remove adjusting nut covers at top of each clutch compartment. 2. Loosen adjusting nut locknut.3. Turn adjusting nut to obtain correct lever free travel. 4. Tighten locknut and install cover. 5. Remove control lever stop access cover. 6. Adjust stop bolts for at least 15/16 inch (23 mm) clearance.7. Install cover and seat cushion.
