Brake Pedal
Pedal Control Operated Machines Brake Pedal Applied - Push both brake pedals down simultaneously to apply the brakes, and slow or stop the machine. Use the brakes on a downgrade to keep the engine from overspeeding. Brake Pedal Released - Release the brake pedals to allow the machine to move, or increase ground speed.
Hand Control Operated Machines Brake Pedal Applied - Push the brake pedal down to apply the brakes, and slow or stop the machine. Use the brakes on a downgrade to keep the engine from overspeeding. Pedal Control Operated Machines Parking Brake - The parking brake is activated by moving lever (1) and pushing down the service brake pedals (2). Brake ON - Push the lever down and hold and push the brake pedals down to engage the parking brake. The service brake pedals will remain in the depressed position. The machine should not move when the parking brake is engaged. Do not use the parking brake for stopping the machine. Brake OFF - Pull the lever up and push and hold the brake pedals down to release the parking brake. The brakes pedal will return from the depressed position.

Use the pedal to reduce engine rpm when making directional shifts.Steering Clutch/Brake Control
Pedal Steer Machine
This machine has two steering clutch/brake control pedals. The left pedal controls the left steering clutch and brake. The right pedal controls the right steering clutch and brake. Left Steering Clutch/Brake - Push the left pedal down to steer the machine to the left. The rate of steering is controlled by how far the pedal is pushed down. When
