After failure only PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE VALVES IN THE HYSTAT TRAVEL MOTOR HEAD GROUPS ON CERTAIN D3C, D4C AND D5C TRACK TYPE TRACTORS AND 933C AND 939C TRACK TYPE LOADERS
4351 PS50160 This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS50160" as the Part number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
Valves in the Hystat travel motor head groups need to be replaced on certain D3C, D4C and D5C Track Type Tractors and 933C and 939C Track Type Loaders. Material defects in check valves in the travel motor head groups can result in excessive engine lug during performance stall testing, machine tracking problems under load and poor performance under load.
