Lighter - Push the lighter in and release. The lighter moves out slightly when ready for use.Window Operation
Lift latch (1) to slide the windows. Squeeze latch (2) to release window from the CLOSED position.For window cleaning information, see the topic Window Cleaning in the Maintenance Section of this manual.Cab Doors (If Equipped)
Machines with cabs are equipped with alternate exits. If a door becomes disabled, the other door can be used as an alternate exit. Release the latch and open the door. Move the lock to unlock the cab door from inside.Open the door until it latches in the fully open position.Push the lever, to release the cab door from the fully open position.AM/FM-MPX Radio (If Equipped)
(1) ON/OFF Switch/Volume Control - Turn this knob to the right (clockwise) to turn the radio or cassette player on. Turn the knob further to the right to increase volume. (2) Left/Right Balance Control - Pull this knob and turn it either to the right or left to adjust balance for equal volume between left and right speakers. (3) Nonfunctional Knob (4) Bass Control - Rotate this knob to the right to increase bass tone, to the left to decrease it. (5) Treble Control - Push and rotate this knob to the right to increase treble tone, to the left to decrease it. Rotate while pushing the knob in. (6) Auto Scan Tuning Switch - During radio operation, press this switch to scan and stop at each station for eight seconds. You may advance the Auto Scan Tuning either upwards or downward by operating the Manual Tuning Control. If the desired station is found, press the switch again. Auto Scan Tuning stops and the selected station remains. (7) AM/FM Band Selector - Each time this button is pushed, the selected radio band appears on the display panel. (8) Manual Tuning Control - To select a radio station manually, turn the knob to the right. The radio advances one digit higher. To tune downward, turn the knob to the left. Holding the knob in either position for longer than 1/2 second cause the radio to tune rapidly in the selected direction. (9) Auto Seek Tuning Switch - During radio operation, push this switch to search for a station automatically. If the Manual Tuning control is set upward, the Auto Seek Tuning advances to higher frequencies. When the top end of the tuning band is reached, it automatically reverts to the lower end of the band and searching resumes upward. To search down the band, set the Manual Tuning Control downward.
