3. Identify, disconnect and plug a total of eleven hydraulic hoses connected to the tandem pump. There are six hoses on the top, three hoses on the side and two hoses on the bottom. 4. Remove two bolts and washers (1) and remove bracket (2) holding neutral start switch. Remove one locknut and washer (3), and remove linkage (4). Remove the two bolts, washers (5) and bracket (7). Remove locknut and washer (6), and remove linkage (8). 5. Attach hoist to the tandem pump as shown. Remove two bolts (9), which hold the tandem pump to the pump drive.6. Pull the tandem pump back so that the splined shaft of the pump can clear the pump housing. Turn the front of the pump so that the pump length will fit through the opening; then remove the pump from the machine. Weight of the tandem hydraulic pump is 66 kg (145 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the tandem hydraulic pump.7. Thoroughly clean all portions of the tandem pump prior to installation. There is a splined coupling between the splined main shaft of the pump and the splined drive plate in the pump drive. This coupling separates with the pump during removal or stays attached to the drive plate in the pump drive. Ensure that it is in one or the other of these two places prior to installation of the tandem pump. If the splined shaft of the tandem pump will not easily insert into the drive plate, it will be necessary to remove the small access cover on the bottom of the flywheel housing and rotate the flywheel a short distance. The tandem pump shaft should now mesh with the drive plate. Install the access cover on the flywheel housing.8. Lower and turn the tandem pump into a position so that it is in line with the pump drive housing. Insert the splined shaft into the pump drive plate. If the pump splines have meshed, the tandem pump housing will contact the pump drive housing.9. Install two bolts (9) which hold the tandem hydraulic pump to the pump drive.10. Install linkage (8) and locknut and washer (6). Install bracket (7) using two bolts and washers (5). Install linkage (4) and one locknut and washer (3). Install bracket (2) holding the neutral start switch using two bolts and washers (1).11. Remove caps and plugs, and reinstall eleven hydraulic hoses on the tandem pump based on the identification marks placed on the hoses during disassembly.12. Install left side access panel using seven nuts and washers.13. Install operators seat assembly using four nuts and washers.14. Refill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level.
