Transmission control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the transmission control button in order to select FIRST GEAR. Note: The first indicator light will illuminate when the transmission is in FIRST GEAR.

Creeper speed control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the creeper speed control button in order to activate the creeper speed control.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when the creeper speed control is activated.
Use the Monitor in the cab in order to disable the Automatic Engine Speed Control.
Select the "Performance" menu from the main menu on the monitor.
Select "AESC Status" from the "Performance" menu and change the value to "Inactive".
Press the "OK" key.

Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.Test Procedure
To prevent injury or death, never work under a machine while a test is being performed.
Start Electronic Technician.
Select the "Machine ECM" from the list of available controls.
From the top menu, select "Diagnostics".
From the pull-down menu, select "Diagnostic Tests".
Then select "Override Parameters".

From the menu, select "Travel motor swashplate angle limit solenoid current override" and adjust the current to 0.0 amp.
Depress the travel speed pedal fully in the FORWARD position.
Increase the current value at the "Travel Motor Swash Plate Angle Limit Solenoid Current Override" (3) to 0.11 amp.
Monitor the "Transmission Output Speed" (2) , and slowly increase the current value to the "Travel Motor Swash Plate Angle Limit Solenoid Current Override" (2) by increments of 0.01 amp until the transmission output speed increases.
Check the pressure gauge at "M8" port (1) in order to verify that the pressure has increased to the proper specification when the transmission speed increases.Note: Refer to Table 2 in this manual for the correct pressure.
If the destroke pressure is not set to the proper specification, perform the "Adjustment Procedure" in order to adjust the destroke pressure.Adjustment Procedure
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.

Stop the engine.
Loosen the locknut on adjustment screw (4) for destroke pressure.
Turn adjustment screw (4) clockwise in order to decrease the destroke point. Turn adjustment screw (4) counterclockwise in order to increase the destroke point.Note: A 1/4 turn of the adjustment screw will equal approximately 200 kPa (29 psi).Note: Always make the final pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.
Tighten the locknut on adjustment screw (4) for destroke pressure.
Verify that the destroke pressure is within specifications.
Repeat Step 12 of the "Machine Preparation" procedure through Step 5 of the "Adjust Procedure", as needed.Worksheet
