Remove bearing cone (26) and gasket (9).

Remove spacer (28) and barrel assembly (29).
Remove spring (27) and piston (30).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to disassemble barrel assembly (29).
Compress spring (31) until Tooling (A) is below retaining ring (33).
Remove retaining ring (33) and slowly release the spring tension.
Remove spring (31) and washers (32).

Remove bolts (34) and cover (35).
Remove plug (36).

Remove O-ring seal (38) from the cover. Remove O-ring seal (39) from the plug.
Remove shaft (37).

Remove pistons (42) and the plate.
