The new clamp assembly is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.Refer to Table 1 for the new and former part numbers.

New band clamp

Remove the existing U-bolt clamp.
Install four new 452-9342 Clamp As along with new washers (6) and two new locknuts (5) on each band clamp.
Tighten both nuts down evenly so that the thread protrusion is approximately the same.
Tighten each nut to a torque of 15 2 N m (133 18 lb in).
