PUMP GP-FUEL INJECTION 1249424 - Caterpillar

Removal Procedure
Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Lower the scraper bowl to the ground and engage the parking brake. Chock the wheels in order to prevent the machine from moving.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove six bolts (1) and the washers that secure plate assembly (2) to the cab. Remove plate assembly (2) from the cab.

Disconnect electrical connector (3) from transmission electronic control module (4) .
Disconnect electrical connector (5) from transmission electronic control module (4) .
Remove bolts (6) and the washers that secure transmission electronic control module (4) to the mounting bracket. Remove transmission electronic control module (4) from the mounting bracket under the cab.Installation Procedure
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Position transmission electronic control module (4) to the mounting bracket under the cab. Install four bolts (6) and the washers that secure transmission electronic control module (4) to the mounting bracket.
Connect electrical connector (5) to transmission electronic control module (4) .
Connect electrical connector (3) to transmission electronic control module (4) .

Position plate assembly (2) to the cab. Install six bolts (1) and the washers that secure plate assembly (2) to the cab.
