Use the 6V7100 Combustible Gas Leak Detector to find combustible or toxic gas leaks.
The leak detector is approved by the Factory Mutual System for use in Class 1, Division 1, Groups C and D, hazardous locations when it is used with Eveready E91, E95 or Ray-O-Vac 813, 815 cells. The leak detector comes from the factory calibrated for natural gas in air. It will also detect harmful concentrations of propane, butane and most other combustible gases. It can be calibrated for different gases depending on your application. A 6V7103 Calibration Kit is available to calibrate the leak detector. It has a .1% methane-air mixture, 2.0% methane air mixture, and a valve and hose assembly.
Special Instruction, Form SEHS8216, has instructions on how to use the leak detector and the calibration kit. It also gives the specific regulations about the measurement of combustible and toxic gases.
