(in chassis)1. Remove cotter pin (2) and disconnect governor linkage (3). Remove two bolts (6) and lay governor linkage bracket (7) out of the way.2. Remove bolt (4) and loosen bolt (5). Lay oil fill tube bracket (1) out of the way.3. Remove bolt (8). Disconnect fuel lines (9) from the fuel transfer pump.
(in chassis)4. Fasten straps and a hoist to the fuel injection pump. Remove bolts (11) and (12). Remove fuel injection pump housing and governor (10). Weight of the fuel injection pump housing and governor is 59.5 Kg (132 lb).5. Remove the O-ring seals from the fuel injection pump housing. The following steps are for the installation of the fuel injection pump housing and governor.6. Fasten straps and a hoist to the fuel injection pump housing and governor (10). Be sure that the O-ring seals are in position in the fuel injection pump housing. Install the fuel injection pump housing and governor on the timing gear housing. Install bolts (12) and (11) that hold the fuel injection pump housing and governor.7. Connect fuel lines (9) to the fuel transfer pump.8. Install bolt (8). Put oil fill tube bracket (1) in position and tighten bolt (5) and install bolt (4).9. Put governor linkage bracket (7) in position and install bolts (6).10.
