Displaying and Adjusting Selected Parameters
"DSPL SEL" key - This key is used to access 14 display screens. In some cases, various general parameters of the control system can be adjusted. You can view the parameters when any of the status screens are displayed. Pressing of the "DSPL SEL" key displays the status of the parameters sequentially. The display screens and the configurable parameters screens are explained below.Screens with adjustable parameters will be identified by a double ended arrow near the adjustable value when the appropriate setup mode for that screen has been enabled. There are two groups for setup mode: setup mode group 1 and setup mode group 2. The keys labelled "LEAN" and "FAST LEAN" are used in order to increase the adjustable parameter. The keys labelled "RICH" and "FAST RICH" are used to decrease the adjustable parameter. Adjust the values that are related to NOX in the following manner:
Use the "LEAN" buttons in order to decrease the value of NOX in parts per million (ppm).
Use the "RICH" buttons in order to increase the value of NOX in parts per million (ppm).
Illustration 1 g01389024The "MAP SENSOR" screen displays the measured inlet manifold air pressure. The "MAP SENSOR" screen also displays the percent of the inlet manifold pressure sensor's duty cycle. No adjustable parameters are displayed on this screen.
Illustration 2 g01389026The "NOx Sens" screen displays the status and data for the NOX sensor. There are four states that may be shown on the display: OFF, heating, active and inact. This screen also provides the measured level of NOX in ppm when the sensor is active.
Illustration 3 g01389031The "NOx des" screen displays the desired NOX target value. The "NOx des" screen also displays the measured NOX level for the feedback input from the NOX sensor. The desired target represents the sum of the base desired NOX and the offset value from the map for the speed and for load.

Adjustable in setup mode 2
This is the display screen and the configuration screen for the calibration of the speed sensor. The first "MagPkUpCal" screen displays the frequency in hertz. The calibration factor and the measured rpm are also displayed. In "setup mode 2", the user can calibrate the frequency in order to correct slight deviations in the measurement of the rpm. The value that is used to calibrate the frequency adjustment is set at the factory. The range is 7000 to 12000.

Adjustable in setup mode 1
The second "MagPkUp" display and the configuration screen shows the calibration value for the number of teeth on the flywheel ring gear. The frequency in hertz and the corresponding engine speed are also displayed. The user can adjust the number of gear teeth in order to match a nonstandard flywheel. This adjustment is made in setup mode 1. The default and the expected number of teeth is 138. The adjustable range is 50 to 500.
