(1) Hitch open solenoid (2) Pressure tap (3) Truck hitch manifold (4) Hitch close solenoid (5) Pressure reducing valveTruck hitch manifold (3) is mounted to the rear face of the fan compartment. The front door on the right side of the machine provides access to this manifold. The ports in this manifold are marked for identification.Truck hitch manifold (3) is equipped with two solenoids. Hitch open solenoid (1) is the rear solenoid on the top face of the manifold. Hitch close solenoid (4) is the front solenoid on the top face of the manifold. The truck hitch switches control the truck hitch open solenoid and the switches control the hitch close solenoids. The solenoid connectors contain arc suppressors.Truck hitch manifold (3) also contains two pilot opened check valves and pressure reducing valve (5). The pilot opened check valves ensure that the truck hitch will not move unless a solenoid is energized. Supply pressure is required in order to open the check valve which is located in the return line from the truck hitch cylinders.Pressure Reducing Valve
Pressure reducing valve (5) limits the maximum pressure available at the truck hitch solenoids to 6900 170 kPa (1000 25 psi). Hitch supply pressure can be measured at pressure tap (2). This tap is located in port "G" of truck hitch manifold (3) .Front of Machine

(6) Push rollers (7) HousingThe front of the tractor is equipped with push rollers (6). The push rollers contact the rear wheels of a truck. These rollers allow the tractor to push a truck during the paving operation.The truck hitch cylinders (if equipped) are located inside housing (7) at the front of the machine. When oil is directed into the head ends of the cylinders, the truck hitch closes. When oil is directed into the rod ends of the cylinders, the truck hitch opens.
