Assembly Procedure
Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
Inspect all seals. Damaged seals must be replaced. Use new Caterpillar seals for replacement.

Install six back up rings (23) and for O-ring seals (22) on pilot valve (19) .

Remove six back up rings (21) and four O-ring seals (20) on control valve (18) .

Install pilot valves (19). Tighten the pilot valves to a torque of 37 4 N m (27 3 lb ft).
Install control valves (18). Tighten the control valves to a torque of 37 4 N m (27 3 lb ft).

Install three back up rings (17) on piston (16) .

Install two O-ring seals (15) and one back up ring (14) on each check valve (13) .

Install check valves (13). Tighten each check valve to a torque of 50 4 N m (37 3 lb ft).

Install six back up rings (12) and four O-ring seals (11) from diverter valve (10) .

Install diverter valve (10). Tighten the diverter valve to a torque of 37 4 N m (27 3 lb ft).

Install four back up rings (9) and three O-ring seals (8) on spool (7) and spool (4) .

Install spool (7) and spool (4) in control valve (1). Tighten spool (7) and spool (4) to a torque of 37 4 N m (27 3 lb ft).
Install solenoids (6) and (3) .
Install nuts (5) and (2). Tighten nuts (5) and (2) to a torque of 6 2 N m (4 2 lb ft).End By: Install the control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Rear Propel/Freewheel) - Install".
