1. Remove bolts (3) that hold the turbocharger oil supply line.2. Remove bolts (5) that hold the turbocharger oil drain line.3. Remove turbocharger oil supply line (2) and oil drain line (4). 4. Remove bolts (7) that hold shield (9).5. Disconnect sensing line (8) for fuel ratio control.6. Remove the turbocharger air outlet pipe (6).7. Remove the bolts (1) and nuts that hold the turbocharger to the manifold. Remove the turbocharger.Install Turbocharger (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Industrial Engines)
1. Put a new gasket on the manifold studs. Put 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on the studs.2. Install the turbocharger and tighten the nuts to a torque of 40 4 lb.ft. (5.5 0.6 mkg).3. Install the turbocharger air outlet pipe.4. Connect the sensing line for the fuel ratio control.5. Install shield and bolts.6. Install turbocharger oil supply line and oil drain line and the bolts that hold them.end by:a) install air cleaner assemblyRemove Turbocharger (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Marine Engines)
start by:a) remove turbocharger shield 1. Remove bolts (3) that hold turbocharger oil supply line. Remove bolts (5) that hold turbocharger oil drain line. Remove elbow (4). Remove four bolts that hold elbow (2) to cylinder head. Remove elbow (2) and air cleaner (1) as a unit. 2. Remove two bolts (7) and two nuts that hold turbocharger (6) to the exhaust manifold. 3. Remove turbocharger. Weight of the turbocharger is 40 lb. (18.2 kg).Install Turbocharger (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Marine Engines)
1. Put turbocharger in position on exhaust manifold. Install two bolts (1) and two nuts that hold it in position. 2. Install air cleaner (2) and elbow (3) on turbocharger. Install the four bolts that hold elbow (3) to cylinder head. Connect oil supply line with bolts (4). Connect oil drain line with bolts (6). Install elbow (5).end by:a) install turbocharger shield
