Install valve spool (29) in body assembly (17) .

Install the O-ring seal on detent assemblies (28). Use a 3/8 inch 16 NC bolt to install the detent assemblies on each side of the body assembly.

Put stop (26) in position in the body assembly. Then install pin (27) in order to hold the stop in place. Install the pin until the pin is 3.0 1.0 mm (0.12 0.04 inch) below the surface of the body assembly.

Install valve spool (25) in body assembly (17) .

Install the O-ring seal on detent assemblies (23). Use a 3/8 inch - 16 NC bolt (24). Then install the detent assemblies on each side of the body assembly.

Put stop (21) in position in body assembly (17). Then install pin (22). Install the pin until the pin is 3.0 1.0 mm (0.12 0.04 inch) below the surface of the body assembly.

Put the following parts in position on manifold (20) : plate (18), body assembly (17) and plate (16) .
Put support (19) in position on the plate. Then install 22 bolts (15). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).

Put shaft (13) in position in bracket assembly (8). Align the hole in the shaft with the hole in the bracket assembly. Then install pin (10) .

If bearings (14) were removed, install the bearings in the lever assemblies by using Tooling (C) .

Put lever assemblies (6) and (9) and washers (11) in position on the shaft. Then install snap rings (12) by using Tooling (A) .

Align the lever assemblies with valve spools (25) and (29). Put bracket assembly (8) in position. Then install four bolts (7). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seals on sleeves (5). Put the sleeves and washer (4) in position in the body assembly. Then install the bolt that holds the parts in place.

Install elbow (2) in the body assembly.
Install the O-ring seals on sleeves (1) and (3). Install the sleeves in the body assembly and the elbow, as shown.End By: Install the transmission hydraulic control valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
