ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the fuel inlet tube 324-6795 with the new cast version of the fuel inlet tube 446-6701. During reassembly use the 5R-9779 gasket. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual for repair instructions.

MODELS INVOLVED - ON CERTAIN CG170-16 AND G3516H GENERATOR SETS

The fuel inlet pipe needs to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing fuel inlet pipe can fail from vibration or binding allowing gas to leak in close proximity to hot engine components. A gas leak near or on hot exhaust components may, in conjunction with other factors or circumstances, result in a risk of personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
