The Special Instruction, REHS1046, "Troubleshooting Guide for 122-9897 Implement Electronic Control Module " Is Available.The special instruction provides the information that is necessary for dealers to perform a diagnostic test on the auxiliary hydraulic controllers. Previous tests for analyzing viable controllers have been unreliable. Many controllers have been returned to the factory, but the parts were still operational. This special instruction will improve the test results for determining if the auxiliary controllers are operational.The special instruction is available through the normal literature distribution system. The special instruction can also be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
