This Program must be administered either before or after failure.In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS44245" as the Part Numberand "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Travel will only be authorized for one engine for multiple engines being reworked in a boat. Please reference the other engine serial numbers in the claim story.
There is a $30 miscellaneous allowance for purchase of paint to match the engine.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Before completing the attached Rework Procedure, please review the safety actions in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the engine.
Step 1: Remove the existing oil fill tube and oil gauge guide assembly from the engine.
Step 2: Install 431-1408 Bracket to the engine block cover with two 3B-1915 Bolts and two 9X-6458 Washers as shown as Item 1 in Image 1.1.1.
Step 3: Install the 432-2330 Guide As and 432-2097 Gauge As shown as Item 2 in Image 1.1.1. Note: The 118-5068 o-ring is required to install the 4322-2330 Guide As in the existing 386-1249 Adapter on the oil pan.
Step 4: Secure the 432-2330 Guide As to the 431-1408 Bracket with a 9S-8752 Nut, 9X-6458 Washer, 5M-2894 Washer, 0S-1594 Bolt, and 5P-9299 Clip.
Step 5: Install the 431-0760 Tube As with two 3B-1915 Bolts, 239-5572 Seal-Integral, and two 5M-2894 Washers shown as Item 3 in Image 1.1.1.
Step 6: Secure the 431-0760 Tube to the 431-1408 Bracket with a 5L-4504 Clip, 9S-8752 Nut, 0S-1594 Bolt, and two 9X-6458 Washers.
Step 7: Paint exposed surfaces of components to match engine.
