Right Console (1) Propel lever (2) Sidecutter up switch (3) Sidecutter down switchSidecutter up switch (2) and sidecutter down switch (3) are located on propel lever (1), on the right console. These switches are push-button switches with normally open momentary contacts. The propel lever communicates the status of sidecutter up switch (2) and sidecutter down switch (3) to the sidecutter ECM through the CAN lines. The sidecutter ECM monitors the signal from these switches in order to control the solenoids on the sidecutter control valve. When either of the switches is pressed, the sidecutter ECM directs an output signal to the appropriate sidecutter solenoid. The sidecutter cylinder extends or retracts in order to raise or lower the sidecutter.
