Installation Procedure
Note: Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Fasten a lifting strap and a hoist to existing lifting eye (9) in the transmission hydraulic control valve. Carefully install the transmission hydraulic control valve to the transmission. The weight of the transmission hydraulic control valve is 43 kg (95 lb).
Install four bolts (10) to the transmission hydraulic control valve. Tighten the four bolts to a torque of 48 4 N m (35 3 lb ft).

Place sleeves (7) into the original position in the transmission hydraulic control valve.
Install bolt (8) and the washer to sleeves (7) .
Install the wiring harness and connector (7). Install the nut to connector (7) .

Install the gasket and cover (5). Install eleven bolts (4) and the washers to cover (5) .
Install the gasket and cover (3). Install ten bolts (2) and the washers to cover (3) .
Install transmission cover support (1) .
