2. Put identification on the two wires that are connected to the speaker assembly (back-up alarm). Disconnect two wires (2).3. Remove two bolts (3) and speaker assembly (back-up alarm) (1). 4. Close three valves (6) on the bottom of the fuel tank. Disconnect the hose assemblies (4) from each valve. Put plugs in the hoses to keep dirt out.5. Remove two bolts (5) from each bracket on the rear side of the fuel tank. 6. Remove breather (8) from the fuel tank.7. Remove two brackets (7) that hold air tank (9) to the fuel tank. Move the air tank away from the fuel tank. 8. Install two 5/8"-11 forged eyebolts in the top of the fuel tank. Fasten a hoist to fuel tank (11).9. Remove two bolts (10) from each bracket on the front of the fuel tank. Remove the fuel tank. The weight of the tank (empty) is 500 lb. (225 kg).Install Fuel Tank (Scraper)
1. Fasten a hoist to fuel tank (1) and put it in position on the scraper. Install two bolts in each bracket on the front side of the tank. 2. Put air tank (2) in position on the fuel tank. Install the brackets that hold it.3. Install breather (3) on the fuel tank. 4. Connect three fuel lines (4) to the valves on the bottom of the fuel tank.5. Install two bolts (7) in each bracket on the rear side of the fuel tank. 6. Install speaker assembly (back-up alarm) (5) on the fuel tank. Connect two wires (6) to the speaker assembly (back-up alarm).7. Open the three valves on the bottom of the fuel tank.8. Install the prescreener assembly on the scraper engine.end by:a) install hood (tractor and scraper engine) **This operation is in the Engine Disassembly and Assembly Section.
