This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3570" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3570" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The intake manifold on certain 3208 Engines (integrated Crane carrier engines) needs to have a hole plugged to prevent the possibility of water entry into the engine.

1 - 8B7179 Set Screw
Action Required
Install an 8B7179 Set Screw in the hole in the intake manifold as shown in the illustrations. the hole which must be plugged is the threaded hole directly above the air intake pipe.
After tightening the set screw to standard torque, cover the head of screw with 5P3321 Epoxy to prevent tampering.
