1. Remove bolts (2) and rocker shaft assembly (3). Remove push rods (1). The following steps are for installation of the push rods and rocket shaft assemblies.2. Install push rods (1). Put rocker shaft assembly (3) in position on the engine.3. Put the fuel return manifold (if equipped) in position and install the clamps, the locks and bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 24 7 N m (18 5 lb ft).4. Adjust the valve clearances until the intake valve clearance is 0.38 mm (.015 in) and the exhaust valve clearance is 0.64 mm (.026 in).
