Location of the Lift Linkage Position Sensor

(1) Loader frame. (2) Lift linkage. (3) Plate assembly. (4) Bolts. (5) Sensor assembly. (6) Bolts. (7) Electrical connector. (8) Bolt. (9) Arm.Sensor Removal
Unplug electrical connector (7) from the wire harness.
Remove the four bolts (4). Remove sensor assembly (5) .
After removing sensor assembly (5), loosen bolt (8) and remove arm (9) .
Remove the clip that is holding the connector to the plate. Remove five bolts (6) that are holding the position sensor to the plate.
Remove the position sensor.Sensor Installation
Position the new position sensor on the plate and install five bolts (6) .
Position arm (9) on the shaft for the position sensor. Tighten bolt (8) .Note: Align the flat in the bore on arm (9) with the flat on the sensor shaft.
Position the sensor assembly on the loader frame. Install the four bolts. Note: At installation of the sensor assembly, position the fork on the end of the shaft over the pin on plate assembly (3) .
Install the clip that is holding electrical connector (7) to sensor assembly (5) .
Install the connector from the wire harness to connector (7) .
Complete the calibration procedure for the lift linkage position sensor.Reference: For calibration information, refer to the Service Manual module Testing and Adjusting, "Position Sensor (Lift Linkage) - Calibrate" .
