The engine shut down timer harness assembly needs to be replaced on certain D3C III, D4C III, D5C III Tractors and 933 and 939 Track Loaders. The 1498860 Harness Assembly for the engine shut down timer needs to be replaced due to the application of an incorrect wire size in one circuit.

Remove and discard 1468881 and 1498860 Harness Assemblies. Install a new 1498860 Harness Assembly from Parts Stock. See Illustration 1.
