3. Loosen all oil pan plate bolts (2) and install a spacer (1) between the oil pan plate and the cylinder block.4. Fasten a hoist to the flywheel housing. Weight of the flywheel housing is 102 Kg (225 lb.). 5. Remove bolts (3) that hold flywheel housing to cylinder block.6. Remove flywheel housing.Install Flywheel Housing
1. Install a new gasket on flywheel housing.2. Install two 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolts or two 5P9736 Link Brackets in the flywheel housing.3. Fasten a hoist to the flywheel housing. Weight of housing is 102 Kg (225 lb.). 4. Put the flywheel housing (1) in position on cylinder block.5. Install the bolts that hold the flywheel housing to the cylinder block. Tighten the bolts to their standard torque and in the sequence shown in the illustration. 6. Cut the flywheel housing gasket even with the oil pan face of the cylinder block.7. Remove the spacer from between the oil pan plate.8.
