When reporting the repair, use "PS4842" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The forward direction clutch on certain D5M and D6M Tractors can be unstable during speed shifts in the forward direction. This results in rough shifting, sometimes described as "chattering" or "shudder," during most speed shifts in forward. It can be more evident when pushing a load.

Flash in Software 170-8515.
Recalibrate the transmission and steering clutches and brakes according to the service manual (SENR8367).

This is a 1.5-hour job to install the new software and recalibrate the transmission and steering clutches & brakes.
