D7H And D8N Fitting And Hose Location16. D8N Only: Install two 6V8636 Connectors (63), one 6V8724 Elbow (65) and three 3J1907 Seals (64) to the parking brake valve, as shown. Connect the three hoses, disconnected earlier, to the parking brake valve fittings with three 6V8397 Seals (62), as shown.16. D7H Only: Install two 6V8636 Connectors (63), one 6V8724 Elbow (65) and three 3J1907 Seals (64) to the parking brake valve, as shown. Remove connector (66) (not shown) and install 8T0075 Connector (67) with 3J1907 Seal (64). Connect the hose, disconnected earlier, to connector (67) with 6V8397 Seal (62), as shown. Connect the three hoses, disconnected earlier, to the parking brake valve fittings with three 6V8397 Seals (62), as shown.
D6H Fitting And Hose Location16. D6H Only: Install two 6V8636 Connectors (63), one 6V9001 Elbow (74) and three 3J1907 Seals (64) to the parking brake valve as shown.* Install straight end of 8E3083 Hose Assembly (68) to connector (71) removed earlier in this instruction, with 6V8397 Seal (62).* Install straight end of 8E3081 Hose Assembly (70) to brake control valve 6V8724 Elbow (65), with 6V8397 Seal (62).* Install straight end of 8E3082 Hose Assembly (69) to bevel gear case return elbow (73) removed earlier in this instruction, with 6V8397 Seal (62).* Install the opposite end of hoses (68), (69), and (70) to the parking brake valve fittings with three 6V8397 Seals (62), as shown. 17. D6H and D7H Only: Install 8T9379 Bolt (76), 8T4896 Washer (20), 7C4353 Clip (75) and 7X0575 Washer (77) to left hand rear mounting hole in brake control valve, as shown. Make sure 7X0575 Washer (77) is between the clip and the brake control valve. 18. Install adjusting nuts (80) and flange plates (81) to speed cable (78) and direction cable (79). DO NOT install rod ends to the speed and direction cables at this time. Damage to the cables will result.19. Install the control cables into transmission housing. Mount flange plates (81) with two 8M5661 Seals (82) using two bolts (87) and washers (88), as shown. Flange plate, bolts, washers and adjusting nuts were removed earlier in this procedure. Clean and lubricate the adjusting nut threads before installation.20. Install 9S8748 Nut (83) and 6V5791 Rod End (84) to directional cable assembly (79), as shown. The 6V5791 Rod End must be used to insure proper adjustment of the directional cable.* Install 9S8748 Nut (83) and 5P6438 Rod End (86) to speed cable assembly (78), as shown.21. Install two 8T8932 Pin Assemblies (85), and connect rod ends (84) and (86) to the speed and direction bell cranks on the priority valve. Make sure 8T8932 Pin Assemblies are installed as shown.22. Fasten direction and speed cables using 7S4244 Clip (89), 5M3062 Bolt (90) and 5P1075 Washer (59) (not shown). For speed and direction cable adjustment procedures, refer to the topics entitled Speed Control Adjustment And Forward-Reverse Adjustment Procedures, in Service Manual Supplement SENR4799. 23. Install transmission cover (91) using 3T9922 Gasket (92) and bolts (93). Use a new
