2. Remove covers (1), (2), (3) and (4) from the machine. 3. Remove covers (5), (6) and (7) from themachine.
Always wear goggles when the air conditioning system is opened. This system is charged with Freon-12 (CCL2F2-Dichlorodifluoromethane) which is not toxic or flammable. But, there is a reason for caution. When Freon- 12 makes contact with a flame, lethal phosgene gas is made. INHALING FREON THROUGH A LIGHTED CIGARETTE CAN CAUSE VIOLENT ILLNESS. This system is under pressure at all times, engine running or not. HEAT MUST NEVER BE PUT ON A CHARGED SYSTEM. See AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING SERVICE MANUAL, Form No. SENR7454, for more information on procedures and requirements on removal and installation of lines and refrigerant for the system.
4. Make sure the pressure has been released from the air conditioning system. Disconnect two hoses (8) from the air conditioning evaporator core. Pull the hoses from the cab.5. Loosen two hose clamps (9), and remove the two hoses from the heater core. Pull the hose from the cab.6. Loosen hose clamp (10), and pull the air conditioning drain hose from the cab. 7. Disconnect four wiring harnesses (11) located on top of the flywheel housing. 8. Disconnect parking brake rod end (12) from the control valve. 9. Disconnect brake control rod end (13) and steering control rod end (14) from the levers. 10. Disconnect two transmission control rod ends (15) from the levers. 11. Disconnect ground wire (16) and harness (17).12. Remove the cotter pin and cotter, and disconnect brake rod (18). 13. Remove two hoses (19) from the windshield washer bottle.14. Disconnect wire (20) from the disconnect switch. Disconnect wiring harness (21). 15. Remove two hoses (22) from the windshield washer bottle.16. Disconnect wiring harness (23). 17. Disconnect wiring harness (25), and remove the bolt and clip (24). 18. Disconnect two wires (27) from the starter. Remove the bolt and clip (26). Remove wires (27) from the clip.19. Disconnect wiring harness (28). 20. Remove the cotter pin and cotter, and disconnect brake control rod (29).21. Disconnect governor control rod end (30) from the lever. 22. Disconnect wiring harness (32).23. Remove two bolts (31) and the plates. 24. Remove handle (34) from the hydraulic control rod.25. Remove two bolts (33) and the plates. 26. Attach a hoist to the cab at the three lifting brackets and remove cab (35) from the machine. The weight of the cab is 681 Kg (1500 lb.).Install cab
1. Make sure the original washers are located on the cab mounting pads.2. Use a hoist to position cab (35) on the tractor. 3. Install the plates and two bolts (33) to hold the cab in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 53 N m (350 39 lb.ft.).4. Install handle (34) on the hydraulic control rod. 5. Install the plates and two bolts (31) to hold the cab in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 53 N m (350 39 lb.ft.).6. Connect wiring harness (32).
