PUMP GP-GR 1 20R8493 - Caterpillar

1. Position nylon strap and a hoist, remove bolts (1), then remove implement pump. 2. Remove shaft (2). Remove bolts (3) and the cover. 3. Remove seal (4) and O-ring (5) from the cover. Both sides are the same from Step 4 on. 4. Remove bolts (6) and adapter assembly. 5. Remove bearing (7) and O-ring (8) from the adapter. 6. Remove gear assembly. When installing, note plug (9) in end of gear. 7. Remove bearing (10) from the flywheel housing. The following steps are for installation of the accessory drive gears.8. Install bearing (10) in the flywheel housing.9. Install gear assembly; note plug (9) in end of the gear.10. Install bearing (7) and O-ring (8) in the adapter.11. Position the adapter assembly and install bolts (6).12. Install O-ring (5) and seal (4) in the cover.13. Position the cover and install bolts (3). Install shaft (2).14. Fasten a hoist and a nylon strap to the implement pump. Position the pump and install bolts (1).
