PLACE WIRE TO VEHICLE GROUND 2. Connect the 405-GY wire, that connects to the oil pressure switch, to vehicle ground.Disconnect the harness plug from the operator panel.Check for continuity between Sockets #2 and 5. (Socket #2 is the system ground and Socket #5 goes to the oil pressure switch).
CONTINUITY CHECK AT OPERATOR'S PANEL (HARNESS) 3. Check for continuity between the ground terminal on the oil pressure switch (201-BK wire) and vehicle ground.
CONTINUITY CHECK (TO VEHICLE GROUND) 4. Turn the fuel OFF.Remove the oil pressure switch and put a thumb over the opening.
CHECK FOR OIL PRESSUREHave another serviceman turn the Key Start Switch to the START position so that the starter motor turns the engine. (Do not turn the engine for more than 30 seconds.)An increase in oil pressure must be felt. Problem N: Hydraulic Temperature, Engine Coolant Temperature, Or Transmission Oil Temperature Indicator
Follow the instructions given at the first of the section on the monitoring system, to make sure the system is cool enough for the indicator to turn OFF. If the indicator does NOT turn OFF, make a check of the electrical system as follows:1. Disconnect the control wire from the temperature switch of the indicator that is ON. (See TABLE 4).

Troubleshooting
1. If alternator indicator is ON, increase engine speed. 2. Make a check of the alternator output at the R terminal. For the alternator indicator to be OFF, the operator panel must have 10 volts or more to Socket #3.
