The 8S-0768 O-Ring Seal that is under the transmission clutch solenoid modulating valves may leak. The seal cannot withstand the heat in this application. Heat causes the seal to become hard and brittle. This causes the seal to start leaking at approximately 3000 hours.Solution
The 8S-0768 O-Ring Seal should be replaced with a seal that has a higher capability to withstand heat. The 6D-7889 O-Ring Seal is a direct replacement that can be used.
