6. Remove seal (9) and bearing (8) from lever housing (1). 7. Remove bearing (10) from lever housing (1).8. Remove the bolts and pull detent housing (11) from the control valve body. The detent balls can fall out of housing (11), be careful that they do not become lost. 9. Remove the two O-ring seals from housing (11). 10. Remove plugs (16), O-ring seals (15), springs (14), seats (13) and balls (12) from housing (11). 11. Remove valve stem assembly (17) from the valve body. 12. Put spring (20) under compression and remove retainers (22) from the groove in bolt (18). Release the tension on spring (20) and remove the spring and retainer (19) from bolt (18). Remove bolt (18) from the end of valve stem (21).
There is spring tension on covers (23) and (24). Loosen the bolts that hold the covers slowly and evenly to release the spring tension.
13. Remove covers (23) and (24) from the control valve body. Remove the O-ring seals from the covers. 14. Remove springs (26) and retainers (25) from each side of the valve body. Remove the valve stem from the valve body. 15. Install a 3/8" - 16 NC forged eyebolt in plugs (27) and pull the plugs, O-ring seals, springs and valves from each side of the valve body. 16. Remove plugs (28), (29), the O-ring seals, springs and valves from the valve body. 17. Remove plug (30), the O-ring seal, spring and valve from the valve body. 18. Remove plugs (31) and nuts (32) as a unit from the valve body. Remove the shims, springs, rods and valves from the valve body. 19. Remove the O-ring seals from plugs (31). Remove nuts (32) from plugs (31). Remove pins (35) from screws (34). Remove nuts (36) from screws (34). Remove screws (34) from plugs (31). Remove O-ring seals (33) from screws (34). 20. Remove body (37) and the O-ring seals from the valve body. 21. Remove valve seats (38), (39) and the O-ring seals from body (37). 22. Remove the two springs (40), the spacer and valve from the valve body.23. Remove spring (41) and the valve from the valve body. 24. Remove plug (42) and the O-ring seal from the valve body. 25. Remove spring (44) and valve stem (43) from the valve body. 26. Remove plug (45) and the O-ring seal from the valve body. 27. Remove valve assembly (46) from the valve body. Remove the O-ring seals from valve assembly (46). 28. Remove bolt (47) and the four bolts (49) to make a separation of valve bodies (48) and (50). Remove the O-ring seals from valve body (48).Assemble Main Control Valve
1. Thoroughly clean and inspect all parts of the main control valve. Lubricate mating parts and O-ring seals with hydraulic oil at assembly. 2. Make sure the O-ring seals are installed in valve body (48). Put valve body (48) in position on valve body (50) and install the five bolts to hold the unit together. 3. Install
