Steering Frame Lock Link
Install the steering frame lock link.

Install a 30000 kPa (4351 psi) pressure gauge onto the pressure tap. The pressure tap is located on the discharge line of the steering pump. The steering pump is located on the right side of the engine compartment.

Locate the main relief valve (3) for the steering system. The main relief valve is located on the steering control valve (2). The steering control valve is located on the right side of the machine next to the hydraulic oil tank.

Place an index mark (4) on the relief valve (3) and place an index mark (5) on the adjustment screw (7). Use the index marks for a reference point when you are turning the adjustment screw (7). Turning the adjusting screw clockwise will increase the pressure of the main relief valve. Turning the adjusting screw counterclockwise will decrease the pressure of the main relief valve.
Loosen locknut (6). Turn the adjusting screw (7) counterclockwise for one full turn. Start the engine. Turn the machine against the steering frame lock. Read the pressure on the pressure gauge. The pressure should be below 24000 kPa (3480 psi). Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise for an additional one half turn, if the pressure is not below 24000 kPa (3480 psi). When the pressure is below 24000 kPa (3480 psi), the main relief valve is set lower than the cutoff pressure of the steering pump.
At high idle 2240 rpm, steer the machine against the frame lock. Record the pressure on the pressure gauge when the pressure is below 24000 kPa (3480 psi).
Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise for an additional one half turn. At high idle 2240 rpm, steer the machine against the frame lock. Record the pressure reading on the pressure gauge.
Subtract the pressure that was recorded in step 7 from the pressure that was recorded in step 6. This is the amount of pressure change as the adjustment screw is turned one half of the way.
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise for the required number of turns in order to set the main relief pressure to 27600 700 kPa
