Gap Appearing in Mapped Terrain on Top-Down View
The following can cause the top down view to display gaps in the already mapped terrain.

Condition Check Determination
The dozer enters a slot to which the dozer is not assigned and records slot elevation data incorrectly. Assign the machine to the slot or move the machine to the machines assigned slot If reassigning the machine or moving the machine to the machines assigned slot does not correct the gaps in the already mapped terrain, there is a higher-level issue. The dozer is not squarely aligned with slot when the dozer enters the slot and records slot elevation data incorrectly. Back the machine out of slot and reenter the slot realigning the machine to be square in the slot. If realigning the machine to be square in the slot does not correct the gaps in the already mapped terrain, there is a higher-level issue. Contact Cat dealer for further assistance. GPS Fault
A GPS fault will keep a machine from entering autonomous mode.The G610 display, onboard the machine, processes all GPS information from the two receivers. A GPS fault will be displayed by the POSE icon displaying red. A GPS fault can often be cleared by restarting the Terrain software running on the G610 display.G610 display software restart steps:
Log in to the G610 using VNC client.The VNC client will allow you to see what is displayed on the G610 remotely, and interact with the G610 remotely.
Sent a Ctrl-Alt-Del command to the G610.Click the Ctrl-Alt-Del buttons to send the command to the display. Clicking the Ctrl-Alt-Del buttons will bring up the windows task manager on the G610.
End the Terrain process.Select the terrain program and click the end task button. Ending the Terrain process will close the program and return you to the windows desktop.
Restart Terrain.Click the start menu and navigate to the startup folder. Run the Terrain program located in the startup folder.
Allow Terrain to restart.Terrain will take up to 2 minutes to start, establish communications with the site servers, and get a GPS fix.A continued loss of GPS reception indicates a higher-level issue. Contact Cat dealer for further assistance.Dozer Numbers No Longer Showing on ROS PC
Identification numbers for the dozers may no longer show on the ROS PC interface.It may be necessary to restart the ROS PC software to fix this issue. Rebooting the entire PC is not necessary.Restart the ROS PC software steps:
Close the ROS PC software.Closing the ROS PC software will disconnect all allocated machines from the Operator Station
Restart the ROS PC softwareUse the shortcut on the desktop to restart the ROS PC software. Machines will need to be reallocated before work can continue.If dozer identification numbers do not reappear on the ROS OC interface, there is a higher-level issue.
