A work tool may shift if improper procedures or equipment are used for lifting and tying down for transport. Ensure that proper equipment and procedures are used for lifting and tying work tools down for transport. If a work tool shifts it could cause personal injury or death.
Do not use the lifting eyes on the work tool in order to lift the host machine. Damage to the work tool and host machine may result.

Illustration 1 g01208583Use properly rated cables or properly rated slings in order to lift the work tool or secure the work tool. Position the lifting device for level lifting of the work tool. Position the hydraulic lines in order to prevent any damage to the hydraulic lines. If equipped, position the wiring harness in order to prevent any damage to the wiring harness.
Lifting and Tie Down Point (1) - In order to lift the work tool, attach the lifting device to the front lifting points that are located on each side of the cutting head. In order to tie down the work tool, attach the tie-downs to the front tie-down points that are located on each side of the cutting head.
Lifting Point (2) - In order to lift the snowblower, attach the lifting device to the rear lifting points that are located on both sides of the frame mounting bracket.
Tie Down Point (3) - In order to tie down the work tool, attach the tie-downs to the rear tie-down points that are located on each bracket for the stabilizer pads.
