Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the compartment cover for the front of the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cover (Cab Front) - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.

Release the air pressure from the air tank.
Remove clip (2).
Disconnect electrical connection (1).
Remove pressure switch (3) that is engaged by the brakes, the adapter, and O-ring seal (4). Installation Procedure
Note: Before installation, apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the external taped threads.

Install O-ring seal (4), the adapter,and pressure switch (3) that is engaged by the brakes. Note: When pressure switch (3) is installed, tighten the pressure switch to a torque of 22.5 2.5 N m (16.5951 1.8439 lb ft).
Connect electrical connection (1).
Install lip (2) in order to secure the electrical connection.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Starting with an Extrnal Air Supply" in order to refill the air tank. End By:
