Remove bearing (14), retainer (15), O-ring seal (16), Duo-Cone seal (17) retainer (18), and spacer (19) from the spindle assembly.

Remove O-ring seals (20) and (22) .
Remove six O-ring seals (21) .

Remove 18 springs (23) and 18 springs (24) .

Turn support housing (13). The weight of support housing (13) is approximately 109 kg (240 lb).
Use Tooling (B) to compress spring (25) .
Remove the pin from spring guide (26). Remove spring guide (26) and spring (25) .
Repeat Step 21 through Step 22 to remove the remaining three spring guides and springs.

Use Tooling (C) as forcing bolts to separate piston (27) from cylinder (28) .

Remove piston (27) .
Remove two ring seals (29) and two ring seals (30) from piston (27) .

Turn support housing (13). The weight of support housing (13) is approximately 85 kg (187 lb).
Remove four bolts (31) .

Install Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to support housing (13). The weight of support housing (13) is approximately 70 kg (155 lb).
Remove support housing (13) from cylinder (28) .

Remove three O-ring seals (32) from support housing (13) .

Remove 12 bolts (33) .
Using two people, remove housing (34) and piston (35) as an assembly from support housing (13). The combined weight of housing (34) and piston (35) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).

Remove three O-ring seals (36) from support housing (13) .

Support housing (34) and piston (35) on wood blocks.
Put an alignment mark on housing (34) and piston (35) for assembly purposes.
Use a soft faced hammer to remove housing (34) from piston (35) .
