Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the accumulator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Accumulator (Hydraulic Pilot) - Remove and Install".
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines and on all wires for installation purposes. Plug all lines and all wires. This will help to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Disconnect lines (1), (2), (3), and (4) from the pilot and travel speed manifold.

Disconnect electrical connectors (5) and (6) .

Disconnect line (7) from the pilot and travel speed manifold.
Remove three bolts (8) and washers from the pilot and travel speed manifold.

Remove pilot and travel speed manifold (9) from the bracket.Installation Procedure

Position pilot and travel speed manifold (9) on the bracket.

View from the bottom of the pilot and travel speed manifold
Connect line (7) to the pilot and travel speed manifold.
Install washers and three bolts (8) to the pilot and travel speed manifold. Tighten the bolts.

Connect electrical connectors (5) and (6) .

Connect lines (1), (2), (3), and (4) to the pilot and travel speed manifold.End By: Install the accumulator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Accumulator (Hydraulic Pilot) - Remove and Install".
