Pull back safety sleeve (A). In case the coupler is blocked, tighten the coupler and try again.Note: To avoid permanent coupler damage, do not try to unscrew female coupling (B) without pulling back safety sleeve (A).

Unscrew female coupling (B) for at least one full turn while keeping safety sleeve (A) pulled back.
Release safety sleeve (A) and continue to unscrew female coupling (B) until the coupling is disconnected. After fully unscrewed, and if thread is still not disconnected, rotate (180deg) more.Note: If the safety sleeve (A) will not unlock, turn female coupling (B) clockwise. This operation should allow safety sleeve (A) to pull back.Note: For easier disconnection of coupling, pull the mid of hose.

After disconnection, clean the surface and connect the dust cap with the coupling for the quick disconnect to protect the couplings from dirt and other foreign material.
Disconnect the pilot lines by using the following instructions.
Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic systems after the engine and pump have been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic systems. To prevent possible injury, refer to the section, Testing and Adjusting, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release" before any fitting, hose or component is loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.When possible, the bucket or attachment must always be lowered to the ground before service is started. When it is necessary for the boom to be in the raised position while tests or adjustments are done, be sure that the boom, stick and bucket or attachment have correct support.The swing lock (if equipped) must be engaged before service is started.Always move the machine to a location away from the travel of other machines. Be sure that other personnel are not near the machine when the engine is running and tests or adjustments are being made.

Firmly grasp lever (A) and press the locking button (B).
While you are holding the locking button (B), lift the lever (A) to disengage the roll pins from the cam curves.Note: During disconnection, firmly hold the lever (A) to prevent any reaction due to the internal working pressure.
Remove the hydraulic block group (D) from the mounted coupling (C).
Place the hydraulic block group (D) on a suitable support to prevent contamination and damage.
Close dust cover (E) on the mounted coupling (C) to prevent contamination of the hydraulic system.
Disconnect the electrical harness that runs from the boom foot to the boom nose.Note: Make sure to select 'Front Removal Procedure" in the boom configuration before removing the harness. Error message may appear on the monitor.Remove the Boom
