Introduction
Do not perform any procedure that is outlined in this publication until you read and understand the information that is contained in this document.The 444-6457 Fastener Kit is used to prevent leaks from occurring at the cover of the pre-lubrication oil pump group.Required Parts
Table 1 contains the parts needed for this installation. The fastener kit includes one 444-4862 O-Ring Seal and seven 443-5902 Bolt .

Personal injury can result from removing hoses or fittings in a pressure system.Failure to relieve pressure can cause personal injury.Do not disconnect or remove hoses or fittings until all pressure in the system has been relieved.
Ensure that the air and gas supplies are removed from the pre-lubrication oil pump group before continuing with this procedure.

Remove and discard the seven previous bolts (1) that hold the exhaust cover to the end of the pre-lubrication motor.
Remove and discard the previous O-ring seal (2) that is installed between the pre-lubrication motor and the exhaust cover.
Clean any paint, contamination, and/or debris from the bolt bosses, holes, threads, and mating faces between the motor and cover.
Install the new 444-4862 O-Ring Seal onto the exhaust cover mating face.
Position the exhaust cover on the aft end of the pre-lubrication motor housing. Install seven of the new 443-5902 Bolt into the motor housing.

Torque the bolts to 6.89 N m (61 lb in) following the sequence from Illustration 2.
After installing the cover, reattach the air and gas supplies and turn on the supplies.
Ensure that there are not any leaks coming from the exhaust cover after installation.
